History
Bill Fargason has been an avid outdoorsman for over 35 years. He enthusiastically embraces the outdoors whether he is hunting, fishing, camping or working on the farm. With an understanding and supportive wife, Laurie, and two great children, Will and Rebekah, his family lives outdoors. He loves developing and nurturing the land and the resources God has given us control over. Whether he is hunting with his bow for deer, turkey, hogs, elk or bear, Bill hunts not for the kill, but for the experience and the opportunity to enjoy what he loves with his family and friends. Bill believes it is our responsibility to pass on the outdoor heritage to our kids and grandkids for generations to come.
Almost 12 years ago, Bill invented and soon patented the SCENTite Blind. The SCENTite Blind was invented out of need Bill had to hunt with his young, 7 year old son, Will, on the ground, without the worry of being smelled, seen or heard. The innovative SCENTite design led to other ground and elevated blinds, and eventually to the invention of the SCENTite Tent Chair Blind family.
Now nationally known, Fargason Outdoors has grown from just a few folks to a thriving company that loves the outdoors. Bill’s dream of developing an outdoors company that designs and manufactures useful products, which provide a real value, not always a value measured by success, but the value of true enjoyment of the creation we are all part of. It is a part of our heritage to not let the outdoorsman or outdoorswoman, or the wildlife we all enjoy, become extinct…let’s all do our part and invest in the outdoors!
